"Vertigo" was always my favorite Hitchcock film; I loved Kim Novak's pastel, super-tight cardigans, dark red lipstick and blindingly bleached blonde hair. This photo is second in Vanity Fair's Alfred Hitchcock series and features Renee Zellweger posing as Novak and, that said, is a little disappointing. Zellweger wears a boring black wrap dress and nude, understated makeup that totally kills the spirit of Novak's campy, creepy performance and look in the film.
